Modern hotel in a side street in central Fukuoka. Low traffic noise, sometimes (weekends) you'd hear people from nearby bars, hotels and so on talking in the streets (if your window faces out front). Larger room for japanese standards. We were happy with the location and didn't mind the 10 minute walk to the nearest train station. Close to restaurants, bars, the river. Tenjin 15 minutes walk away, Hakata 20 in the other direction. We had a twin room with 2 queen size beds that we pushed together - created a huge bed landscape. Nice separation of bathroom from rest of the room with plenty of doors. Would book again. They also served a little free 'sweets and tea combo' between 3 and 10pm upon request which was nice. Oh, and they do eco stay (no full cleaning under 4 nights), only towels and emptying bins. I am cool with that and it increases my feeling of privacy.

Location - everything was within walking distance. It is located in quiet area but many there are many restaurants around, a 7-11 nearby and even a 24-hour grocery close by. Room - Bigger than most hotels in Japan, big bathroom with separate toilet and shower area. Also a separate area to leave luggage and hang clothes. Staff - very friendly and courteous. Also appreciate the free tea and the delicious dessert. Also the terrace was a nice area to chill at.

Margarita

Think of it as service apartment with big spacious rooms. Minimum service at front desk but it's ok for 1-2 nights stay. Pro: big room for Japan, bath and toilet separate and overall good space. Location also good, across the street from canal city and lots of restaurants in the area. Con: no room cleaning service so long stay may be uncomfortable. Towel changing and trash emptying will be done. Recommend for a few nights stay with kids!

The rooms were super spacious and clean, really impressive. The location is quite convenient, plenty of shops around and the station wasn't too far of a walk to get to. The breakfast is located at the hotel next door which was a bit weird it was totally worth it. Felt quite luxury. They had free 'snacks' in the afternoon/evening which was a nice touch, but you had to get served by the receptionists so it felt quite awkward.

Naoko

Good location within walking distance to the Nakasu Yatai stalls and to the Canal City shopping mall. The deluxe double room we booked was very spacious, clean and quiet at night for a restful sleep. The reception staff were always friendly and willing to attend to requests. Housekeeping, although kept to a level of daily towel replacement and trash removal, was optimal for our needs during our stay.
